OSIXO OS 05 is a very high-quality, synthetic special coating fluid for many materials or material combinations (metallic surfaces, plastics and elastomers) and has been used in the automotive industry for many years. It is mainly used to avoid squeaking and creaking noises ('Squeak and Rattle'). Very thin functional film thicknesses (5-10 μm) are achieved and the special formulation makes it easy to spray. The fluid solves basic stick-slip problems and is multifunctional in its use. Because it is odorless and colourless, it is not subject to any optical or haptic restrictions. It can be used wherever high material compatibility, long-lasting and reliable effects, low evaporation and a wide temperature range are required.
OSIXO OS 05 ensures an extremely low-friction and low-wear surface and thus increases the general sliding properties. The product can be applied to a wide range of surfaces and is characterized by its low coefficient of friction and its excellent release and non-stick properties. OSIXO OS 05 should be applied to clean, dry and grease-free surfaces. Once applied, the coating is resistant to most solvents. Removal is only possible with the help of special solvents. Application temperature range of the coating: -36 °C to + 200 °C
